Creating a Board

On your homepage you have the option of creating as many different boards as you like. You can do this by clicking the grey square that says “Create a board” in the center and has plus sign above it. This will take you to a new page where you can name your board, write a brief description of what your board is about, select what category it belongs to (ie, fashion, food, etc), add a map to it, or keep it a secret (make it private). Once you fill out the required fields, hit the “Create Board” button at the bottom of the page.

Searching for Pins

At the top of your homepage there is a search bar where you can put in one or more keywords to start your search. Once you have put in the topic you would like to search, a horizontal list of related topics will appear below the search bar as suggestions to help refine your search. For example, if you type the word “Food” into your search bar, below the words “Healthy” and “Recipes”, plus many more keyword options will appear. If you click on any of these suggested options, the keyword will be added to your search bar, refining your search even more and therefore changing the pins that appear on your page.
